Things to Know

At K9University, we believe dog training is about far more than obedience commands. Our programs focus on creating clear communication, confidence, engagement, structure, and emotional balance for both dogs and owners. We specialize in relationship-centered training designed to help dogs successfully navigate the real world while helping owners build lasting trust, leadership, and understanding with their dogs.

All programs include access to K9University’s growing collection of educational resources, homework guides, and training materials to help owners feel supported between sessions.

TRAVEL & SERVICE AREA

K9University currently offers in-home training sessions within 30 minutes of our training location (Burnsville MN) at no additional charge.

Locations outside of the included service area may be subject to the following travel fees:

• 30–45 Minutes Away: +$15 Travel Fee Per Session
• 45–60 Minutes Away: +$25 Travel Fee Per Session

At this time, K9University does not travel beyond 60 minutes from our training location.

Clients are always welcome to travel to K9University’s training location to avoid additional travel fees.

ALL THINGS PUPPY — JUMPSTART SESSION

Cost: $175

Perfect For:
New puppy owners who have recently brought their puppy home and want guidance on getting started successfully.

Goals:
This session is designed to help owners feel confident and supported during the early stages of puppy raising. We will address common concerns while covering important foundational topics such as potty training, crate training, engagement, confidence building, structure, and communication.

We will also walk through K9University’s Puppy Workbook together to help set both you and your puppy up for long-term success.

Includes:
• One 1.5–2 hour session held at the owner’s home or agreed-upon training location
• Written recap of the session with personalized goals and homework
• K9University’s In-Depth Puppy Guide

3 LESSON PROGRAM — “K9 CONNECTION”

Cost: $450

The K9 Connection Program is designed to help owners build stronger communication, engagement, and foundational training skills while addressing common household challenges and creating calmer, more successful everyday behaviors.

5 LESSON PROGRAM — “K9 ESSENTIALS”

Cost: $750

The K9 Essentials Program is designed to help owners build reliable obedience foundations, improve real-world communication, and create greater structure, confidence, and consistency both at home and in everyday environments.

8 LESSON PROGRAM — “K9 FREEDOM”

Cost: $1,600* (Mini Educator Included)

The K9 Freedom Program is designed to help owners achieve advanced obedience, reliable off-leash communication, and greater real-world freedom through clear leadership, modern remote collar training, and intentional lifestyle integration.

REACTIVITY & ANXIETY RESET PROGRAM —
“K9 REHABILITATED”

Cost: $1,850+

At K9University, we understand that reactivity and general anxiety are often symptoms of deeper emotional dysregulation, overwhelm, genetics, environment, communication gaps, and unmet needs — not simply “bad behavior.” Our rehabilitation program is designed to focus on helping dogs build confidence, clarity, emotional stability, and healthier behavioral patterns through structured guidance, exposure training, communication, and owner education.

**K9U does not specialize in extreme separation anxiety cases**
